About ACTA

ACTA is the head of the network of the 19 French Agricultural technical Institutes, representing the applied research level in the French R&I system. Forum of exchange and sharing, at the crossroads of the general interest and the specific interests of the agricultural, forestry and agro-industrial sectors, we are a unique association in Europe that has been run by farmers for over 60 years. Agricultural technical Institutes are specialised by production sectors, located throughout France and are research oprganisations that provide technical support, experimentation facilities, expertise, training and information to end-users.

ACTA'S ROLE AT THE PROJECT

ACTA leads the following task: T2.1: Data Collection Protocols​ and T3.5: Platform Evaluation and Exploitation. Its main mission is to specify data collection protocols based on the experience of the french system and “Vigiculture” tool and to validate the different version of the platform together with end-users and UCPSs In addition ACTA participates to several task in all WPs of the projects : WP1, WP2 (T2.4), WP3 (T3.2), ​ WP4 (T4.1, T4.3), WP5, WP6.​
