About EDENCORE
EdenCore Technologies PC is a spin off company of the Agricultural University of Athens established in 2021. Eden Library ( https://edenlibrary.ai/about-us ) is our project initiative to bring together AI experts, agronomists & software engineers and deliver impactful solutions in the domain of smart farming, agri-robotics, artificial intelligence and plant care. In order to disrupt agriculture through AI, EdenCore provides services ranging from ready-to-use datasets for AI projects and a camera-based pest and enemy detection device (Eden Library Viewer). We aspire to push forward technologies that improve crop care. EdenCore’s mission is to close the gap between computer vision and real world agri-food challenges, using cutting edge models & tools.
EDENCORE'S ROLE AT THE PROJECT
EDEN will contribute in the different tasks in different Work Packages:
WP2: EDEN will develop 3 Proximal protocols for capturing images at close up range (T2.1) and will deploy the EDEN Viewer T2.2), a camera-based scouting system that will be mounted on tractors across all European UCPs and on a Husky robot (AGV) in the Greek UCP (AUA-SF) and will also contribute in T2.4 providing crowdsourcing Data.. EDEN will lead T2.5 which aims to develop and deploy state-of the art AI technologies for pest detection using proximal and remote sensing devices.
WP3: EDEN will test and contribute to the development and deployment of the STELLA subsystems in EdenViewer and provide the novel AI models in STELLA PSS.
WP6: EDEN will disseminate and communicate STELLA project by participating in commercial Affairs (EIMA, AGROTICA, AGRITECHNIKA) and via social media activity in order to boost the building the ecosystem and various stakeholder engagement.
