Horta Srl is een bedrijf dat in 2008 werd opgericht met als missie de waarde van onderzoek te verhogen door technologische innovatie over te brengen naar praktische landbouw op nationaal en internationaal niveau. Horta levert diensten op het gebied van plantaardige productie, om het concurrentievermogen van boerderijen en agro-food bedrijven te verhogen in termen van productiviteit, kwaliteit en stabiliteit van de producties, winstgevendheid, milieuduurzaamheid en voedselveiligheid. De kernactiviteit van Horta is het ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en implementeren van beslissingsondersteunende systemen (DSSs; Decision Support Systems) voor duurzame gewasproductie, die webgebaseerd zijn en toegankelijk via de website van het bedrijf.

HORTA SRL- DE ROL IN HET PROJECT

Horta neemt deel aan WP2 (Gegevensverzameling, -verwerking en -modellering), dat zal bijdragen tot de definitie van eenvoudige bioklimatologische indexen voor de geselecteerde plagen, wat zal helpen om het risico voor de gerelateerde ziekte te bepalen. De ontwikkelde indexen zullen worden overgezet naar het STELLA PSS platform.
